If your business will be attending exhibitions in the coming year, you need to carefully consider how you’ll be marketing at those events and what materials you need to take along with you to successfully promote your business.
Digital Journal recently shared the findings of a survey by Plus Exhibition, which asked 1,000 people what puts them off an exhibition stand the most when they’re attending an event. The biggest turn off is overly eager sales staff, but one of the other big issues is that visitors can’t work out what a company is promoting.
In fact, one in four of those polled said that they felt that not being able to figure out what a business is promoting was their main problem with an exhibition stand.
This means you need to consider how someone completely new to your brand can easily work out what it is you do if you’re at an exhibition. As well as having knowledgeable and approachable staff manning your stand, you need to ensure there are other ways for people to get information.
Exploring roller banner printing might be one option, or looking at the other ways in which you can make the most of exhibition printing and physical marketing materials like leaflets and brochures.
A recent article for Exhibition News, meanwhile, suggested that exhibition organisers need to make better use of the data they have on visitors to ensure that they are attracting the highest calibre of visitors to their shows and therefore that they’re able to attract the biggest and best names in the relevant sector to appear at their events.
